Enjoy this spectacular Eco Certified Scenic Tablelands Tour viewing Lake Barrine, the Curtain Fig Tree, Waterfalls Circuit, World Heritage Rainforests, Paronella Park and Australian wildlife. Enjoy panoramic views of the Mulgrave River Valley as we climb Lamb Range before a delicious Devonshire tea overlooking beautiful Lake Barrine as well as a wildlife cruise. The beautiful waterfalls circuit & Curtain Fig Tree provide a great photo opportunity, before lunch. We then continue onto Paronella Park where you will enjoy an informative and fascinating guided tour of these National Trust listed Heritage Gardens and castle ruins.

Lake Barrine: Travel in air-conditioned comfort to Lake Barrine. Enjoy some freshly baked scones and morning tea before boarding the morning cruise of the Volcanic Crater Lake Barrine. View the twin Kauri Pine Trees, 1000yr old forest giants.

Curtain Fig Tree: After a short journey our guide will escort you along boardwalks to the ancient Giant Curtain Fig Tree.

Platypus Spotting: Our next stop is Tarzali Lakes to spot the elusive platypus.

Millaa Millaa Falls: A brief stop to view this famous waterfall.

Lunch at Mungalli Falls: Enjoy a splendid 2 course lunch atop Mungalli Falls.

Paronella Park: Arriving at Paronella Park you will be accompanied by the parks knowledgeable guide for a leisurely tour of the National Trust listed heritage gardens and castle ruins. Free time is given to explore the Museum. Your tour concludes with a scenic drive home passing Mt Bellenden Ker and Mt Bartle Frere two of Queensland’s highest mountains.

Your Itinerary includes:

7.00am - Hotel pick-ups commence from Cairns

9.15am - Lake BarrineAscending the mighty Lambs Head Range, we arrive at Lake Barrine. Enjoy some freshly baked scones and morning tea before boarding the morning cruise of the Volcanic Crater Lake Barrine. View the twin Kauri Pine Trees, 1000yr old forest giants.

Curtain Fig Tree: After a short journey our guide will escort you along boardwalks to the ancient Giant Curtain Fig Tree.

12.30pm - Milla Milla Falls: A brief stop at Milla Milla Falls, then onto Tarzalli lakes for some Platypus spotting. Travel through rich dairying pastures to Mungalli Creek Dairy.

Lunch: Enjoy a splendid 2 course lunch.

3.30pm - Paronella Park:  Descending the range, we stop at Crawford’s Lookout for an amazing view of the North Johnstone Gorge. Arriving at Paronella Park you will be accompanied by the parks knowledgeable guide for a leisurely tour of the National Trust listed heritage gardens and castle ruins. Free time is given to explore the Museum. Your tour concludes with a scenic drive home passing Mt Bellenden Ker and Mt Bartle Frere two of Queensland’s highest mountains.
