KURANDA, SCENIC RAIL & SKYRAIL

Journey to Kuranda Village on the historical Kuranda Scenic Rail. This spectacular experience traverses the World Heritage listed rainforest of Barron Gorge National Park to the village of Kuranda. From the famous Heritage Markets to the unique wildlife parks, Kuranda has something for everyone to enjoy! In the afternoon its time to enjoy the magnificent rainforest views from the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway.

Itinerary

Start the day with a luxury coach transfer from Cairns, enjoy views across the Queensland Cane Fields on the journey to historic Freshwater Train Station.
Kuranda Scenic Rail: Board the famous train for an amazing journey, as you travel one of the world’s most scenic rail routes. Take in the spectacular views as you wind through hand-hewn tunnels and over
bridges spanning spectacular gorges.
Kuranda Village: Upon arrival in Kuranda, enjoy free time to do your own exploring in the village– visit the Heritage Markets, local cafes, and shops, or why not take advantage of the exclusive Kuranda

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway: Embark on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for the world’s most beautiful rainforest experience! Once aboard you will be amazed as you glide silently over & through the rainforest. There are 2 stations enroute where you can alight and enjoy a walk through the rainforest to spectacular lookouts; take in the amazing views of Barron Falls from The Edge Lookout and visit
the Rainforest Discovery Zone at Red Peak Station.
Complete the days touring with a coach transfer from Skyrail’s Smithfield Terminal back to Cairns enjoying the commentary from your local driver guide.
