What’s on in Cairns: May 2018
The last month of Autumn is just beautiful in Cairns; the weather is the perfect warm temperature with comfortably low humidity, usually from 20-28 degrees Celsius. The nights start to get a very slight chill (depends where you are from!), and while there might be some clouds, May rainfall in Cairns is quite low and tends to be overnight. Overall, May is usually one of the perfect months- not too hot and sticky, and not too cold ever.
If you’re visiting Cairns, there’s lots of things to see and do – you can visit Kuranda and design your own day with what you want to see, head out and explore the Great Barrier Reef, or visit the world’s oldest rainforest – The Daintree.
