What’s on in Cairns: December 2018
December is the official start of Summer (we would probably say it started early this year though!) and also the beginning of the Wet Season. Keep an eye on the forecast though, as the rain can sometimes hold off until early next year. The days will get to 30-35 degrees Celsius, so the rain is a welcome relief in the humid Summer temperature. A great time to visit the Great Barrier Reef, however make sure to pack your sunscreen and use a stinger suit in this season. Our partners have some amazing reef trips if you haven’t picked one yet – click here to see them.
