Your informative & knowledgeable driver/guide will collect you from your accommodation and take you to Mossman Gorge. Mossman Gorge awaits you as your first port of call. Most people who travel to Cairns and Port Douglas want at least a brief experience in a tropical rainforest. The Daintree is the park that is immediately recognizable around the world as the most famous tropical rainforest in Australia, you will discover rainforest walking tracks and refreshing crystal clear cool waters boarded by moss cover rocks. The surrounding ancient rainforest will give instant release from the tropic heat and wild life is found in abundance, keep an eye out for the Boyd's rainforest dragon sunning itself on a mossy rock.

We continue on to the Daintree River to embark on a calm water cruise on the Daintree River, observe the wildlife that inhabits this environment. Your guide will point out the different types of wildlife & plants that make their home along the river. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive & fearsome estuarine saltwater crocodile.

Afterwards, we head towards our lunch spot at the Daintree Eco Lodge. Bilngkumu Restaurant, with its balcony terrace, overlooks the peaceful fresh water lagoon and is accessible via elevated boardwalks through the lush rainforest. It is uniquely crafted to compliment the rainforest setting and capture the serenity of the fresh water stream flowing beneath; it is here you will be spoilt by the delicious and tantalizing tastes of the Lodge's BBQ lunch.

After lunch, enter a world of special sites, ancient bush walks and traditional practices. An Aboriginal guide couple cultural information with botanical and wildlife information on interpretive walks through the lush rainforest. Venture to the waterfall and into special places, with healing powers significant to women. The guide presents an insight into the wonders of the Aboriginal culture, way of life and use of plants and animals - for food and medicinal purposes.
