Cape Tribulation In A Day
Join Down Under Eco Tours for a spectacular day exploring the World Heritage Wet Tropics rainforest of Far North Queensland and the amazing landscapes of the Cape Tribulation wilderness area.
Your informative and knowledgeable driver/guide will collect you from your accommodation this morning to travel one of Australia's great scenic Highways before arriving at the lush, mysterious Daintree River. Crossing the Daintree River, we continue on to the Jindalba Boardwalk for an informative guided walk conducted by your driver/guide. After the fascinating walk, we wander into the Coconut Beach Resort for a relaxing and delicious lunch.
Following lunch, take a peaceful stroll along the beach before returning to the Daintree River, with a stop en route to savour the panoramic view along the way.
Recrossing the river, we board a calm water cruise of this vital waterway observing the myriad of wildlife inhabiting this environment. Your guide will point out the incredible variety of wildlife and plants that make their home along the river. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive and fearsome estuarine saltwater crocodile!
The cruise terminates in Daintree Village; where there is time to indulge in a cup of tea or coffee before heading off to beautiful Mossman Gorge en route to Cairns.
