The Daintree rainforest is renowned around the world as the most famous tropical rainforest in Australia. We arrive at our first stop at the mysterious Mossman Gorge where you will discover rainforest walking tracks and refreshing pools of crystal clear cool water boarded by moss covered rocks. The surrounding ancient rainforest will give instant release from the tropic heat and wild life is found in abundance.

Your coach ambles on towards the lush, overgrown Daintree River, for a calm water cruise observing the wildlife that inhabits this environment. Your guide will point out the vast array of wildlife and plants which make their home along the river. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive and fearsome estuarine saltwater crocodile.

Following our cruise, you will enjoy some free time to explore the charming Daintree Village before our delicious lunch.

With its balcony terrace overlooking the peaceful freshwater lagoon, the restaurant is accessible only via elevated boardwalks through the lush rainforest. After lunch, we continue on to The Daintree Discovery Centre. Established in 1989, the Daintree Discovery Centre has grown over the years to become a widely recognized leader in the field of eco-tourism. It offers a world class interpretive facility, allowing visitors easy access to unique rainforest wilderness. The centre provides a number of ways to enjoy the area, including a guided boardwalk tour, a 23 metre Canopy Tower and a comprehensive display centre.

Afternoon tea will be served at Coconut Beach Rainforest Lodge in spectacular rainforest surrounds. Afterwards, enjoy free time with easy access to walk on the private beach before finally returning to Cairns
