Tour Details
Kuranda Scenic Rail
Transfer from your accommodation to Freshwater Station this morning for check-in. Once aboard the
train, sit back and enjoy the spectacular views.
Kuranda Village
Upon arrival in Kuranda, you have 2 hours free time to do your own exploring, including the Heritage Markets which operate daily.
Skyrail Rainforest Cableway
At the scheduled time board Skyrail. Once aboard you will be amazed as you glide silently over the rainforest. There are 2 stations enroute where you can alight and enjoy a walk through the rainforest to spectacular lookouts.
Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park
A short distance from Skyrail is the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park. Meet your Indigenous guide who will show you through the remainder of the Park, including bush food demonstrations, didgeridoo demonstrations, movie theatres, fire making demonstrations and the famous Tjapukai Dance Troupe. Your return transfer departs at 4.50pm.
Your Itinerary includes:
- Hotel pick-up 7:00am - 8.00am for 8:45am train
- Hotel pick-up 8:15am - 9.00am for 9:45am train
- Kuranda Scenic Rail 8:45am or 9:45am
- Free time in Kuranda: Approx. 1-2 hrs
- Skyrail Rainforest Cableway 12:30pm
- Entry to Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park which includes:
- indigenous guide
- entrance to all Theatres
- the famous Tjapukai Dancers
